Bossard's career began in 1999, when she took a job aboard the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65 foot halibut boat was turned to a salmon tender by Murat Ariatn. He has been commercial fishing for more than 20 years. Bossard has married Aritan. The couple has come together and have claimed their respective industries. Both of them are favor of conserving resources and maximising profits. In 2007, she became a mother of two young children Bella age three as well as Andre 1 Bossard before returning to her home in Philadelphia, opened a direct wholesale distribution of seafood called Otolith. The name Otolith is a loving reference to Bossard's extensive understanding of the biology of fish and her husband's many connections in the industry of seafood. The two are frequently separated for 5 months in a row while they pursue sustainable and financial goals that reflect their commitment and autonomy wherever they are.
